The Great Allentown Fair 2026 hours run September 2 through 7, marking the 174th year of one of Pennsylvania’s oldest and largest fairs. All times below apply to the Allentown Fairgrounds for the 2026 season.
Wednesday, September 2, Opening Night: 4 to 10 PM. Adult admission is $5, or $3 plus a canned food donation for Second Harvest Food Bank. Kids 12 and under are always free.
Thursday, September 3, presented by Lehigh Valley Press: 12 to 10 PM. Everyone gets in free from 12 to 2 PM. Adult admission after 2 PM is $10.
Friday, September 4: 12 to 10 PM. Everyone gets in free from 12 to 2 PM. Adult admission after 2 PM is $10.
Saturday, September 5, Service Electric Saturday: 12 to 10 PM. Adult admission $10.
Sunday, September 6, Red White & Thank You Military Appreciation Day: 12 to 10 PM. Adult admission $10. All active-duty military and veterans with ID get in free all day.
Monday, September 7, Labor Day, American Bank Senior Day: 12 to 9 PM. Adult admission $10. Senior citizens 65 and up get in free all day.
Kids 12 and under are free every single day of the Fair, no exceptions and no age creep, that holds true from Opening Night through Labor Day.
Allentown Fair 2026 Parking at the Fairgrounds
Fairgoers can park on-site through Gate 7 off Liberty Street for $10 per vehicle. If you’d rather not deal with it day-of, premium parking can be prepaid in advance for $30. The Fairgrounds sit at 302 N. 17th Street in Allentown’s West End, easily reached from Route 22 or Hamilton Boulevard.

What happens if it rains? The Allentown Fair runs rain or shine. Weather does not cancel or postpone general Fair operations, though individual grandstand shows may have their own weather procedures announced separately if needed.
Are drones allowed? No. Drones and remote-controlled aircraft are strictly prohibited anywhere on the property, a policy enforced under Pennsylvania state law, not just fair rules.
Do I need a ticket for kids at concerts? For general Fair admission, kids 12 and under are always free. For ticketed Grandstand concerts specifically, any child age 2 or older needs their own ticket, though a child under 2 may sit on a parent’s lap without one.
