Lehigh Valley trick or treat 2026 dates are out, and this year the towns are split between two nights. Halloween lands on a Saturday. Allentown and Bethlehem are going Friday, October 30. Easton and most of Northampton County are sticking with Saturday, October 31.
We pulled every town we could find into one list so you don’t have to dig through municipal sites. Times run 6 to 8pm unless we note something different.
Allentown, Bethlehem, and Easton Trick or Treat Times
- Allentown: Friday, October 30, 6 to 8pm
- Bethlehem: Friday, October 30, 6 to 8pm
- Easton: Saturday, October 31, 6 to 8pm
Bethlehem Township matches the city and goes Friday too. If you live in one town and work in another, double check which night applies at home. It’s an easy mix up this year.
Early Trick or Treat Times Before Halloween Weekend
A few towns are going early, so mark these on the calendar now.
- Saturday, October 24: East Allen Township Trunk or Treat, 6 to 8pm (this is separate from regular trick or treat, which is Friday, October 30)
- Sunday, October 25: Lower Mount Bethel Township, 4 to 6pm
- Wednesday, October 28: Slatington, Walnutport, and Washington Township (Lehigh County)
- Thursday, October 29: Jim Thorpe (check with the borough for exact hours)
That Sunday afternoon slot in Lower Mount Bethel works great for families with little ones. The lists we checked don’t all agree on that date, so check with the township before you head out.

Up here in the Slate Belt, Bangor rarely gets to trick or treat on Halloween itself. This year the calendar lined up, so expect a busy night on Broadway and the side streets. Older kids can also stay out the full two hours with no school the next morning.
Towns Still Waiting on Final Word
A handful of towns haven’t locked in their plans yet, or the lists we checked don’t agree. Keep an eye on these:
- East Bangor
- Germansville
- Portland
- Washington Township (Northampton County)
Some lists already show East Bangor and Germansville on Saturday, October 31, 6 to 8pm, but the boroughs haven’t posted official dates yet, and other lists still say to be announced. Your borough or township website is the best place for the final answer.
Macungie is also still waiting on trick or treat hours. The Macungie Halloween Parade is a separate event, set for Saturday, October 10 at 7pm (rain date Sunday, October 11).
Rain Dates and Last Minute Changes for Lehigh Valley Trick or Treat 2026
Weather can move things around, especially late in October. Lehigh Township and Upper Saucon have already set rain dates for Saturday, October 31, and the times are listed above. Most municipalities post changes on their website or Facebook page first. A quick look the morning of saves a lot of disappointed kids at the front door.
The folks at Lehigh Valley Moms keep a running town by town list too. It’s worth bookmarking as a second source.
A Few Tips for a Smooth Night
Double check the trick or treat times for your town before you head out.
Turn your porch light on if you’re handing out candy, and off when you’re done. Reflective tape or a small flashlight helps drivers see little ones after dark. Drivers, take residential streets slow between 5 and 9pm on both nights this year. Check the candy haul before anyone digs in, and toss anything that looks opened.
We choose local, so should you.
